Creating Change

No One Left Behind (NOLB) is the Scottish Government’s approach to placing people at the centre of employability services and transforming employment support in Scotland.

The scheme supports projects that aim to reduce child poverty and help parents find, and progress in work. Creating Change: Employability will provide creative opportunities as a steppingstone to build experiences and skill sets to become more employable.

Participants will receive free Reachout membership until March 2024, choose which workshops, activities, and events to participate in, receive re-imbursement for travel costs to and from workshops, make new connections through leading and volunteering both within the organisation and externally, and be inspired to make short term goals and aspirations.

To join our Creating Change programme you must be unemployed or a low income parent (all ages) from Clackmannanshire. Eligible participants include:

  • Lone parents

  • Parents with a disability

  • Parents with a disabled child

  • Parents with 3 or more children

  • Parents from a minority ethnic background

  • Parents with a youngest child under 1 year

  • Families with a parent under 25 years

Creative programmes are a safe inclusive space, delivered in Reachout’s large flexible fully equipped arts studio, promoting self-directed and lifelong learning opportunities through co-producing artwork which empowers personalisation and choice alongside fellow members. They are led by professional artists and will build on the skills, confidence, and self-worth of participants with long term conditions.

Reachout programmes are designed to engage with a broad spectrum of individuals living with a diverse scale of challenges, many of which are long term, multiple and complex.
