Clackmannanshire Council Educational Psychology Service (Clacks EPS) works with families, schools and nurseries and other professionals, to help meet children and young people's educational needs. Their goal is to make local children and young people safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, responsible and respected in line with Getting It Right For Every Child's wellbeing indicators.
Our partnership with ClacksEPS focuses on creating bespoke therapeutic creative for children aged 5 – 9 years, supported by school staff. During the programme it was identified that hosting some Educator Training would be beneficial to enhance the skills of staff in delivering therapeutic creative experiences in schools.

Teachers reported they found the training sessions extremely useful in a practical sense, and it was refreshing to have hands on training. The practical side of the session increases their confidence in materials, leading a session and also helps to emphasise the importance and need for creativity in wellbeing as they experienced it first-hand.
