Visual Arts Taster Sessions

In the Summer of 2026 we welcomed families into our studio for a series of 6 inclusive multidisciplinary creative sessions. Feedback from participants included: "Go Create is a great initiative that keeps young kids entertained during the holidays. Staff were very approachable and kids enjoyed the activities, snacks, drinks. It was a shame it is only 2 hours, 2 hours 30 minutes would be ideal. We can’t wait for next year." "We loved it. The kids did animation, clay, painting and had so much fun. The confidence they gained from it was so lovely to see. I loved having the time to be creative and just enjoy some time with the family when everyone was happy and enjoying themselves."
"Ruby has enjoyed 3 of the available sessions. We have no suggestions on anything that could be improved. This initiative has been incredible. Historically, I would struggle to keep Ruby regulated in organised class settings. This one was completely different. The open, spacious, and free flow setting is neurodivergent and sensory difference friendly. The artists are knowledgeable and engaging – we felt so welcome and accommodated. Ruby looks forward to returning in the future (funding dependant). Ruby refers to this as therapeutic – for a child with a complex neurodiverse profile, this is appreciated. University schedule dependant, I would love to become a member. The times and dates of the sessions were ideal, as were the lengths of the sessions. A huge thanks to the team for welcoming and including us."
"A huge thank you! Grace and I have had a fantastic time. It has provided a safe inclusive space where we has the opportunity to create art together. More sessions like these are needed and greatly appreciated. Helping families connect in meaningful ways – not only helps the child but helps parents / carers too. Thanks you so much!"
