CTIC: Emotional Connections Through Art at St Serfs

“I wish we could do this all day.”

At St Serfs Primary School, the young people displayed amazing creativity and an emotional connection to their artworks. They remembered loved ones through commemorative artworks, using art as a means to celebrate those who have touched their lives.

Throughout the creative process, pupils stepped into supportive roles, assisting one another with technical challenges and encouraging each other’s ideas. This spirit of collaboration added an extra layer of meaning to their work, showing not only artistic skill but also empathy and teamwork.

Many designs incorporated thoughtful concepts, such as the touching “I Love You” pot. These pieces highlight the children's ability to blend emotion, resilience and creativity in truly inspiring ways.
