2 – 3 days per week for 6 month (initially with potential for 1 year - pending funding)

Opportunity

The Reachout Make-Change-Inspire programme is offering a 6 month Supporting Artist opportunity to work closely with Reachout Artist Facilitators to deliver high quality creative visual arts projects, including pottery, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, crafts, photography, animation and filmmaking. The role involves supporting the delivery of studio-based and outreach workshops.

 

Reachout With Arts In Mind

Reachout is an award-winning expressive arts organisation with a 32-year track record of delivering person-centred development, self-management, and inclusion programmes. It offers a diverse range of artist, volunteer, and member-led workshops, drop-in sessions, and outreach initiatives designed for children, young people, and adults.

 

Programmes

Make-Change-Inspire provides children, young people, and adults with the opportunity to explore various art forms, including visual art, pottery, film, animation, and music workshops. It fosters skill sharing among artists from diverse backgrounds while encouraging innovative collaborations with emerging artists.

 

Opportunity Criteria

This opportunity is open to artists from a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, and gender identities. It is particularly suited to art students working toward a professional qualification who have previously led person‑centred facilitation.

You will be based within the Reachout With Arts In Mind studio, supporting the Reachout Make-Change-Inspire programme through a collaborative co-production approach.


Duration: February – July (24 weeks) Potential for extension subject to funding.

Schedule: Monthly rota, 2-3 days per week

 

Shortlisting Criteria:

Candidates must provide clear evidence of meeting all essential criteria and demonstrate their suitability for both the role and the organisation. To be considered for an interview, applicants must be available Monday to Friday, between 10am and 4pm, throughout the duration of the programme (February - July 2026).
