INSPIRE - Studio & Outreach

Inspire provides visual arts and creative opportunities for young people aged 16+ experiencing challenging circumstances, mental ill health and barriers to employment.

The Inspire Outreach Programme Engages young people in partnership with community organisations and schools.

We invite schools in the Stirling / Clacks area to get in touch to discuss what we can offer and work together to deliver fun and rich creative workshop experiences for young people.

Young Carers Alloa

Sit With Me

Celebrating young carers dedication through art and media.

The project focused on young people customising a chair in any way they choose using paints, up cycling techniques, objects and other materials.

The final chairs formed a major part of our Reach Out With Arts In Mind exhibition at the Speirs Centre Alloa.

Mask

Exploring identity and freedoms

through art and digital media.

Mask is a short video message created with the brilliant group at the Bowmar Centre in Alloa using photography and discussions to explore identity.

Play Alloa - Connect Through Play

The Play Alloa workshops focused on the theme of friendship and connection through play.

Using graffiti styles, digital photography and ideas sessions young participants accessed new materials, new techniques and professional input to realise strong images that reflect and celebrate their world with PLAY ALLOA.

The final images were printed onto large weather proof boards to decorate the new premises Play Alloa has recently called home.

What we do

Our professional artists have extensive experience of working with different groups, backgrounds, ages and abilities.

Each creative programme has a unique personality, depending on the participants, the client, the theme of the project and even the weather.

What will you learn?

All programmes are designed to build confidence, increase self-esteem, self-worth and motivation, whilst developing practical skills in the arts and multi-media.
